Sony and Harpo Studios are pulling the plug at the end of the season on the only entrant in the Oprah Replacement Derby with the seal of approval of the Big O herself after two years--if the show moves to OWN, it will be in reruns (as Dr. Phil and Oprah's show is now):
http://www.thewrap.com/tv/article/nate-berkus-show-not-returning-third-season-33491 Which still leaves incumbents Anderson, Bill Cunningham and transplanted Brit Jeremy Kyle and next season's entrants Katie Couric, Steve Harvey, Ricki Lake and Jeff Probst in the fray--and with the presence of Lake in the bunch (and not knowing what direction Probst's show will go), the gains Springer, Wilkos and Maury have been making in the ratings and the continued (if not as successful) presence of the Springer-ish Kyle andf Cunningham shows, something tells me that the screaming, chair-banging and hair-pulling talk shows are coming back--and "The Soup" may have to go back to Monday-through-Friday next season. -- TV or Not TV ....
