Well, I'm fortunate. Dad was sent back to the hospital a few weeks ago, but they released him last week, so he is safely home for Christmas. There won't be a court fight over rent even though the apt managers threatened as such (never mind him being in the hospital over such). But with that bad out of the way, the good is I was given a used white Mac notebook with which I can try to build an iPad app, while I embark on a CS degree and a fine arts minor.
