I guess I could note this on the CBS Morning show thread too - but seems to
fit better here. At the end of Charlie Rose's interview with Gingrich
(which I did not think was particularly better or worse than any other such
interview, but had to be one of the all time top ten jowl and wrinkle
festivals in morning television, glorious on my HD) Charlie said, very
earnestly, something like "all of us here at CBS News join you in mourning
the loss of Tony Blankley. Gingrich responded with a laugh so loud,
hysterical and inappropriate that I was sure he was about to deny that he
had ever had a homosexual relationship with Blankley - it really seemed
quite odd. I assume he initially misheard or misunderstood the question.
