It should be pointed out that as I understand it, "Smash" is not intending
to be the campfest that "Glee" has always been.  However, I would still
expect some soapiness just by the nature of the beast.  But we can make up
our own minds now that the pilot is online and on VOD (I had a ticket for a
screening at a Chicago movie theater on Monday night, but a bad gout flare
kept me home).
