Well, this is the network that has tried to convince America that "Alan
Keyes is Making Sense". And really, the network stumbled upon progressive
analyst/activism by accident though the relative success of uncontrollable
Keith Olbermann. Before that, their failed experiment with Donahue was what
lead to MSNBC prior strategy of mimic Fox News in tone and politics. The
thinking was that America was conservative and Republican after all. The
success of Fox *and* the GOP and the Bush Campaign and Administration at
the time seemed to bear this out. A vestige of this time, beside Buchanan,
is Joe Scarborough who hosts the network's lovely morning Dom-com "Joe
Loves Mika".

But if Buck is out, who are they going to get to play the part of the
"lovable racist old uncle"? Ron Paul is too busy with his perpetual
campaign for President of Austria-America.
