A month before the premiere (and cancellation) of "Work It", Richard Rushfeld noticed that the writers from Friends did not move on to greater success. For instance, one created "Work It", and another created "How to be a Gentleman". "Friends" was so much a success, anyone associated gets trusted with new projects, but "Friends" probably such a unique show that no one figured out how to pull something like that off again.
