Allow me to add that, on Sunday, Buck proclaimed the Niners relatively injury-free throughout the season as compared to the Giants last Sunday. Maybe that was just in case the Niners did the impossible (according to many pundits) and beat New York for the NFC Championship. It seems like Buck disdains S.F. even more than he disdains the Meadowlands Marvels. Apparently, he chose to overlook the plague of injuries that depleted the Niners' receiving corps (Braylon Edwards, Joshua Morgan, Ted Ginn, Delanie Walker, etc.), not to mention superstar linebacker Patrick Willis missing a string of games, and 49ers all-time rushing leader Frank Gore missing many quarters to injury. If ace punt and kickoff returner Ginn isn't on the bench with a bad knee, Kyle Williams isn't fielding punts and turning over the ball twice in crucial moments in the game, leadiung to 10 New York points in a game where the margin of victory is 3 points.
