I don't blame Carter for trying to make a comparison between Carson's anniversaries and Dave's, but the media landscape is so different now. A prime time special would lose money for the network and Dave would have to strog arm them into doing it, and a late night retrospective would just be self serving. -- TV or Not TV ....
