Redbox has renewed its deal with Universal Pictures through August
2014, and they will have to abide by the apparently standard 28 day
waiting period. They're still fighting with Warner Bros. who want to
double that window for their films. Redbox says they'll do better to
just buy the DVDs third party.

Off comment note, this email address is temporary as I go about to
prepare to move (and thus, change ISPs). The ever thoughtful Google
does not have an easy way to change the email address associate with a
Google account. Their workaround is to 1. Create a Gmail account
(which automatically becomes the account's primary address). 2. Then
associate a new email address as the alternate and as the address for
mailing list messages. 3. Disassociate your old ISP's address from the
account. 4. (I hope) close the Gmail account and have the new email
address become the address associated with the account.

We'll see if this works.
