Both Bickett and his current station (KTBC in Austin) are on fire when it comes to unintended publicity recently. It's the second time in a month that a video's gone viral with Bickett. Back on February 8, a couple of comedians in a movie which parodies low-budget morning shows stopped by their low-budget morning show while more or less in character and he was completely baffled about how to handle it. http://www.myfoxaustin.com/dpp/good_day/Tim-and-Eric-Stop-by-Good-Day-20120208-ktbcw#axzz1lcEnn9fa The station also caught some (well-deserved, IMO) flack last week for repeating verbatim a TMZ headline about some actor getting his first break who had also "banged three chicks in a REAL PORNO" (their emphasis) on their Twitter feed. They've had a couple of nasty graphics errors that I've seen as well, including labeling video of tornado damage in the midwest as last year's SXSW festival and substituting "death" for "deaf" in a lower-third. -- David J.
