It seems the BBC has set its radio sights on the US. A radio pilot of a US version of The News Quiz is being made in the next couple of weeks, hosted by Lewis Black:

The article doesn't mention its existence, although commenters do. Clearly, Radio 4 manages a whole host of comedy panel shows in any given week, so it's not as though any network can only carry one.
