I think it is an attempt to "wait out" the protests. This means that for the (remaining) week and a half the protesters can't listen to the show to log advertisers to launch protests against. Maybe after two weeks, things will cool down enough so buying on Rush is safe again -- at least that's what Premiere is hoping.
