Brian Lamb, who was able to convince the House of Representatives to be 
televised on cable TV in 1978 and parlayed that into a unique group of 
cable channels that have never worried about channel drift (because they 
don't take advertising and have been solely funded by subscriber fees since 
the late 80s), will resign as CEO by the end of the month, but remain board 
chairman--long time staffers Susan Swain (30 years) and Rob Kennedy (25 
years) will become co-CEOs:
