That's not actually correct that all the films in that set are "restored" about 80% of the shorts are the restored versions from the Library of Congress for the 1994-95 VHS set that was produced by Cabin Fever Entertainment. The rest of the shorts from the 1929-1938 period are film transfers from the 1970's by a company called "Blackhawk Films" which distrbuted most of the 1929-38 Hal Roach produced "Our Gang" comedies. Many of these shorts from Blackhawk would come with their own title sequences with "The Little Rascals" or "Hal Roach and his Rascals" since they didn't have the rights to use the original "Our Gang" since that trademark was owned by MGM when Roach sold the rights to the series. Needless to say the 20% of transfers from that DVD set that are Blackhawk transfers from the 70's are obviously not of good quality compared to the 1994-95 Cabin Fever transfers. Vivendi which took the home video rights for "Our Gang/The Little Rascals" from Genius Entertainment which produced that set re-released the entire set in individual volumes minus the bonus disc that have all the Cabin Fever transfers included. There worth around $7 each on Amazon but individual sellers have them for around $3.50 brand new. It is disappointing that Vivendi didn't release the bonus disc from the Genius DVD set on the last disc they released. I was hoping to get that set along with the mostly inferior 1938-44 MGM "Our Gang" shorts WB is selling on their MOD Warner Archive Collection to get a complete collection of the "Our Gang" talkies.
