After seventeen years as cable's top-rated network in average all-day viewers, their primary rival the Disney Channel is now number one, despite both channels draining viewers (Nick just drained a lot more)--the argument has been made that Nick's problems include over-rerunning "SpongeBob" and imitating DIS' tween live-action sitcoms rather than doing the sort of innovating they did during their 80s and 90s glory years: http://www.thewrap.com/tv/article/nickelodeon-ratings-disney-tops-kids-rival-key-category-first-time-36612 It's interesting to note that of the three cable channels in the top 10 all-day average, the only one with double-digit viewer growth is Cartoon Network. Not good news for either Nick or DIS.
