To expand this: while The Simpsons have birth dates, their years of
birth have been constantly changing (since the characters don't* age),
so saying that Bart was born in 1979 may have been "true" on the
series premier date, he's very clearly not 33 now.

The whole chart is unsourced, which drives me nuts in this day and
age. How freaking hard would it be to just source each date?

Now, if you'll excuse me, I have to prepare to chase those ducks off my lawn.**

* I know the series has slightly shifted the ages of Marge and Homer
older over the years, but not the three kids.
** A true statement, but only because we have a duck sitting on a nest
of 11 eggs and these males have been bothering her.
