I probably will though, as I do have both a nostalgic connection to the show from my youth, and a connection to the locale through my wife and her family. The writing is leaden - I don't mean the plotting or story development, but the actual dialogue, even by the standards of the genre. But then, this is not that much worse than what we often get on NCIS:LA. As I say, I have not seen the crossover yet (this will probably stimulate me to catch up, since I am pretty much keeping current with the NCIS twins for now) but I will be surprised if it is much worse than usual. There has been no previous establishment of a direct Sam-Steve connection (unless they did it in the last couple of episodes) but they have hit us over the head repeatedly with the fact that Steve was a SEAL, which is similarly hammered on NCIS:LA about Sam, so an eventual hook-up between the two was about as inevitable as a bikini on Five-0. You may have missed an earlier cross over episode with Kensi showing up on Steve's Rock earlier this season - I don't recall any "say hi to Sam for me" but I may have repressed that. -- TV or Not TV ....
