I'm sure it's the same argument that's always been made for Comedy Night Done Right outside of "The Office": That the audience may be small but higher income and higher education and that they are more likely to go to the movies, ads for which dominate Thursday night commercial breaks. But now they break up the block and put "Community" on cult Friday paired with "Whitney," considered by diehard "Community" fans the Seventh Circle of Hell.
And have you seen the chant of the "Community" fans on the message boards? "SIX SEASONS AND A MOVIE!" Are they kidding?
