While Jay is not unique in showing internet video on a late night program, I
don't remember hearing stories like this connected to other programs.  It
certainly seems that this stuff (takedowns or lack of credit) happens much more
with Leno.

Is this connected to the general lack of goodwill towards Leno?  Does he just
show more online video than Kimmel, Fallon, Conan or Letterman, and runs into
this more often due to volume?  Does he display it in a way that makes it more
of a target?

I don't know the answers to these questions, as it would mean needing to watch
much more of his program than I care to do.

David

Subject: [TV orNotTV] Re: Jay Airs YouTube Video, NBC Then Cites Infringement

As I understand it, the clip wasn't submitted to the TS; instead it
was "found" and then aired without first informing the creator of the
clip. So whatever fine print there may have been wouldn't have applied
here.
