Jim Paratore came to Warners when Time Warner bought Lorimar-Telepictures in the mid-90s and merged it into WB Television (along with his network programming counterpart at Lorimar Les Moonves)--among the many series he developed for Warners were Rosie O'Donnell and Ellen DeGeneres' talk shows and the televersion of TMZ (when Time Warner still owned AOL)--his Telepictures unit of Warners also developed many reality series, including the "Bachelor" franchise (now in Warner Horizon with WB's cable scripted series)--he later became an indie producer with a first look at Warners and was responsible for Bonnie Hunt and George Lopez's less successful talk series (for syndication and TBS, respectively): http://www.deadline.com/2012/05/r-i-p-jim-paratore/
