Considering that the broadcast nets have pretty much gotten out of movies and minis, it's not all that surprising. In fact, all involved with the Stone series deserve a medal for keeping on as long as they did. "Hallmark Hall of Fame" moved this year to ABC from CBS and has gone into the tank (and they thought ABC was a more compatible net than CBS). And ABC had that "Titanic" mini written by the guy who created "Downton Abbey" and they buried the first part on FREAKING SATURDAY NIGHT when no one watches network TV. Does HBO really do them that good and Lifetime and Syfy that bad that the nets don't want to do movies anymore?
