History's Kevin Costner mini "Hatfields & McCoys," the channel's first
scripted long form to actually air on the channel, has pulled broadcast
network numbers for the first two nights of its run (the conclusion is
tonight)--in light of CBS dropping the Jesse Stone movie franchise and
"Hallmark Hall of Fame"'s ratings problems in its move to ABC, could this
be a sign for the broadcast nets to at least consider doing long form, or
will it take another monster cable mini to open their eyes?:

Of course, I realize that this is the first week of summer and that USA and
TNT's summer seasons haven't started yet, but those channels' originals
have not pulled the numbers that "Hatfields" are pulling.
