One Beals performance I really like are the two kids watching the Road Runner on TV and commenting on him in the 1961 Chuck Jones two-reeler "The Adventures of the Road Runner." That's not familiar to people because it's seen today cut in half and chopped up into two shorts--Beals' characters (along with a voice-over from the recently-deceased Dick Tufeld "Speaking") is in the short "Zip Zip Hooray!," which seems to pop up regularly on CN's noon ET hour of vintage Warners cartoons. But if you're one of those who reaches for the remote whenever you hear the Bill Lava version of "The Merry-Go-Round Broke Down," you might not've seen it--the re-editing was done in 1965 for overseas release and television and contains the standard front and end titles for what was then the DePatie-Freleng-made shorts--the re-edits of "Adventures" also don't have Chuck Jones' name on the credits, presumably at his request. (For the record, the other one's titled "Road Runner-a-Go-Go," which dates it bad.) They also don't have Beals or Tufeld's names, either, despite the fact that WB was crediting other voice actors besides Mel Blanc by then. (Blanc appears in his "Wile E. Coyote, Super Genius" voice to explain to the kids why he wants to chase that scrawny Road Runner.)
BTW, the current noon block is almost always post-'48--I've only seen one pre-48 short when I've had it on and the only D-F era shorts that consistently run are the Road Runners farmed out to Format--I'm assuming that despite Speedy's appearances on "The Looney Tunes Show," his shorts are still on CN's blacklist. Thanks to that and the obvious feeling that viewers don't want to see Cool Cat or Merlin the Magic Mouse, the late 60s Warners output is not included, although the shorts made for TV in 1980, the Jones 90s theatricals and the "Carrotblanca" short from the 90s show up in the rotation.
