Herman Cain, the pizza mogul turned clownish Republican candidate for President, will get in the talk radio game on Jan. 21 (Inauguration Day), replacing the notorious self-proclaimed libertarian and calculated controversy-monger Neal Boortz on Atlanta's venerable WSB and at least some of the stations that Dial Global syndicates Boortz to: http://blogs.wsj.com/washwire/2012/06/04/boortz-to-exit-talk-radio-as-cain-enters/ Boortz is leaving radio after 42 years, 14 of them in national syndication. His announcement comes just as FM station WYAY in his home town of Atlanta has switched to an all-news format with the intent of challenging WSB, where the "Atlanta's Morning News" program is arguably as much a linchpin of the station as Boortz (WSB started simulcasting on FM last year as AM's audience ages into the grave, even for 50,000 watt blowtorches like WSB).
