It's worth noting that Mr Alexander's apology was, in fact, a really
outstanding explanation of how and why he got there. It was definitely
not a non-apology apology and is worth reading.

references here: I've tried my best to eliminate using terms that have
that kind of lazy insult to them. It's hard to get them out of your
