1. DVRs still don't handle sports-related delays to programming very well. The only thing to do is pad and then fast forward, but either way you end up with programming that you weren't really interested in recording taking up space on the drive and/or taking up a tuner that you might prefer to have set to something else. 2. Sunday night has a pile-up of good TV. With the DVR schedule I had during the spring, I would have had to lose something if CBS had run more than an hour late, because it would have pushed the end of The Amazing Race past 10 PM ET, when I already had two other shows set to record.
