I think this is a good idea by CBS.

One of the courses I teach is psychology of memory, and it is the area I
have done the most research in. I signed up for a season pass for this
show, and watched the first handful of episodes, realized it really was not
really designed for someone like me, and now have about 10 of them growing
stale in my DVR que (I turned off the pass after a while because it was
conflicting with something else).

But I followed it enough the first month or two to note that this was a
successful format for CBS, and in following the ratings all season it was
clear that the only reason it was not going to get renewed is that CBS has
so many other dramas of the same type, appealing to the same demo. It makes
sense to show new episodes in the summer instead of reruns of Criminal
Minds; why leave this niche open uncontested to the basic cable channels in
the summer?

Montgomery is hotter as a red head than she was as a blonde. It does always
seem like all the effort she puts into speaking in an American accent
results in overly constrained on screen personas; the babe from Damages
seems to have the same problem.
