Don Taffner Jnr, whose DLT Ent. has licenced the iconic sitcom since its
heyday, sent an ultimatum to David Adjmi, whose play "3C" -- costarring "My
Girl" cutie Anna Chlumsky -- was about to end its off-Bway run anyway... a
NYT<http://www.nytimes.com/2012/07/18/theater/threes-company-lawyers-object-to-the-play-3c.html?_r=1&ref=television>reviewer
 noted, in part:

"The production received mixed
reviews,<http://theater.nytimes.com/2012/06/25/theater/reviews/3c-by-david-adjmi-at-rattlestick-playwrights-theater.html>but
whether critics liked or hated it, they all picked up on the allusions
to the “Three’s Company” characters, who were given new psychological and
sexual layers."

Adjmi is being encouraged by peers to defend his right to parody.
