A similar discussion is happening in regards to Sally Ride. http://www.salon.com/2012/07/24/claiming_sally_ride/ I would argue this falls under the rule that an open secret is still, technically, a secret, and an obituary is not the place to make that call, especially when it comes to a (unfortunately still) touchy subject as sexual orientation. -- TV or Not TV ....
