I can not recall that last CBS comedy I watched, but it was probably Murphy Brown. I guess the answer is that if NBC was in better ratings position, a show like Community may have been kept as one of a few vanity boutique projects - although probably most of the Thursday night line-up would already have taken up those positions. -- TV or Not TV ....
