I am living in a media blackout to avoid spoilers, so I would not know if this has become a thing or not. I should emphasize for those who have not seen it that there was clearly nothing lurid or prurient in the underwater boob shot. The announcers set it up clearly as a glimpse into how physical waterpolo is under the water. The athletes of course are not wearing bikinis, but one piece, almost wet suit kinds of things, and while they are healthy, fit women, for the most part they are not exactly Sports Illustrated swim suit models. I don't think I would have even noticed it except I was watching from my desk (meaning I was pretty close to the HD screen) and the nipple kind of stood out against the background. NBC (or OBS, or whoever) certainly linkers in a much more prurient way on sexy bikini ass shots of the beach volleyball players (or down-blouse shots of Anna Kournikova during tennis) than they do over women water polo players. -- TV or Not TV ....
