the "Today" show, where she held forth from 1963 to 1973 before being 
replaced by Gene Shalit's bad puns, and TV Guide, where she reviewed the 
prime time movie lineup (back when the OTA nets did movies in prime time 
besides Saturday night time-fillers--back when Saturday night was still a 
big TV night) every week for 22 years--Roger Ebert said that her success
