They had a substantial victory 8 years ago pushing the FCC to levy fines in the Janet Jackson Super Bowl case. The fines were overturned last year, but the chill on adult language and material certainly lasted. Maybe NYPD Blue would not have suffered with digital blurring and bleeps. We'll never know and it seems like a long time ago. Since then they haven't had a signal victory, one that tells their followers that history is on their side and progress is being made. So I am interested to see if, at this point, they can put pressure on the networks and FCC and turn the tide, or that they are talking to themselves and the networks will go in whichever direction they please. -- TV or Not TV ....
