As I flipped past cable news tonight, I noticed that right now wunderkid Ezra Klein is now on The Ed Show, filling in for Ed Shultz. That is strange, because Klein has a very different temperament from Shultz and also MSNBC does not usually rerun its primetime shows on Friday night. At 10pm sharp, Rachel Maddow usually welcomes us to prison. Instead, she introduced Hardball... and MSNBC is doing what it hasn't done on a Friday night... rerun its primetime shows.
This looks to be a sudden enough change that it didn't register in the iPhone's TVGuide app. Now, is this permanent? I do not know. I would have imagine this would get better ratings than the weekly Lockup marathon. Maybe someone looking for North Africa updates may more easily confuse MSNBC for a news network if it isn't showing people in prison. Also, will prison and documentaries take over Saturday afternoon? -- Wesley McGee http://www.ambivi.com http://sterlingnorth.vox.com http://drawing-a-blank.tumblr.com Twitter: @westwit G+: http://plus.google.com/113413697748381364954 Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/wesleymcgee -- TV or Not TV ....
