If the NJ legislature is like the PA legislature, they are in a short post-Labor Day session that will end in early October in order to let legislators run their campaigns. Legislatures don't always come back into session after even year elections. The leadership in both houses has to call for the special session. And that happens when the leadership party is going into opposition and wants to get some last minute bills passed. What this means is that this bill, which makes sense but is up for a political battle as it would mean fewer reality TV productions, has zero chance of getting to the floor for a vote. -- TV or Not TV ....
