101.9, which Merlin Media picked up to switch rocker WRXP to the 
women-oriented WEMP (only to recently switch back), is unloaded for $75mil 
to CBS, who in November plan to begin a second outlet for legendary 
sportser 66 WFAN... brass says the twosome will be around for a while, but 
it ain't stopping speculation that another format -- perhaps from a station 
CBS would need to unload to stay within Federal limits, the leading 
candidate being all-news WINS -- could head to the original...
