Apropos of nothing, my reason for even going to SFGate was an AP piece about a squirrel being able to get into an electrical complex in rural north Jersey two weeks or so ago... and causing a chain reaction of circuit breakers tripping, bringing a goodly chunk of the passenger railway system in the NY metro to its collective knees.
