I did see one small glimmer of hope in a Variety article (see separate thread): http://www.variety.com/article/VR1118062345 "ABC so far seems to be hedging its bet on "Resort" as it has not released the actors' options.)" Ken Levine, on whose blog I saw the link to the Variety article, wrote: "Interestingly, ABC has not officially cancelled LAST RESORT. There’s a slim chance they could bring it back next season. Yeah, right. It’s not good enough to get a back nine but it is good enough to return for a second season? Mayday, captain!!! My suggestion: take the pilot, slap a real ending on it and sell it as a movie." Maybe ABC has not released the actors contract because they are thinking of something like a wrap up film? I doubt it though. The TVBTN guys often throw water on the desperate hope that a show that is in this situation will ever come back. Their report on LR (and 666)was pretty definitive: http://tvbythenumbers.zap2it.com/2012/11/16/last-resort-and-666-park-avenue-canceled-by-abc/158122/ "Each show will air all 13 episodes that were shot, but will not continue beyond episode 13, despite the additional scripts that were ordered." -- TV or Not TV ....
