Fox Ness has zero credibility with me, but I have to say I have been
impressed with CBS News, under the leadership of David Rhodes, who
apparently used to be a VP at Fox News.

I wound up watching a lot of CBS on election night, and was very impressed
with Scott Pelley and Norah O'Donnell (though CBS came in third among the
Big 3 network news operations that night). I did not watch ABC at all,
apparently missing out on a drunk Diane Sawyer. I started out that day
watching CNN, who turned out not to be as bad as I feared they would be,
but as the returns came in I confess I was anxious enough that I needed a
hit of Rachel to calm my nerves. One thing I like about her is several
times she used the phrase "for a liberal like me" - not pretending to not
have a dog in the race. But I spent probably 60% of the night with CBS, and
was very happy - though somehow I wound up on NBC for the money shot, and
heart Brian Williams announce that Ohio was going Blue.
