I have been watching CFL games this season streaming at ESPN 3. I could not watch it live so I watched it on replay yesterday. I had to go out of my way to avoid spoilers as local hockey writers were retweeting updates by locked out NHL players and Canadian beat writers. One thing I saw repeatedly from Sunday night was that Justin Bieber took the stage at halftime to widespread boos and jeers. I was not interested in the halftime performance by Canada's favorite artists, not even Gordon Lightfoot, but I could find the spot in the broadcast where Carly Rae Jepsen finished her song and Bieber began his.
And there were no boos. At least none that the TSN mics picked up. ESPN does no editing of its streaming content for replay so the sound was not remixed. And today I saw that the meme of Bieber getting booed is still spreading. -- TV or Not TV .... The Smartest (TV) People!
