But what I mean is that I think their intent here is to remove the stink not from the nostrils of the general public, but from their core viewers. It is not so much that they don't want an average viewer to see Karl Rove and laugh at the clown who could not be trusted to report or analyze the news accurately on election night; it is that they do not want their core, right-wing viewer to see Karl Rove and be reminded how incompetently he spent all those millions, and led their team to humiliating defeat. They are going to want to put on conservative faces who can argue that if only Romney and the 2012 GOP decision-makers had been more conservative, or done XY or Z, we would have defeated "That Man in the White House" (as my grandfather used to tell me the Republicans used to refer to FDR as). -- TV or Not TV ....
