"Rules of Engagement," The Sitcom That Would Not Die, is back for a seventh season (after what was presumed to be a only-to build-up-syndication numbers sixth season) in place of "Partners" on Mondays and new cop procedural "Golden Boy," about a whiz kid NY police commissioner (you thought it was based on the Clifford Odets play?), gets the sweet post-"NCIS" slot on Tuesdays for two weeks before replacing "CSI: NY" (which is ending its season in February--is this it for the show?) on Friday nights:
