It's too late for the "stay warm" today -- temps have hovered around -10C/14F all day. Not a good day to hike Mont-Royal, but you go when you can.
As for snow, WPTZ/Plattsburgh NY is saying 12-16" in the Upper Champlain Valley by Friday, while CBC-Montreal is saying 15-25cm (6-10"). But then, it's not my problem.
