Glenn Britt, earlier this month at a UBS confab in NY, vowed to clean his lineups (*Deadline*<http://www.deadline.com/2012/12/time-warner-cable-pay-tv-programming-costs/>) of less-viewed channels whose largely-minimal per-viewer rates were adding to his costs, with which consumer fees weren't quite keeping up... now he's backed off a bit, but expects the nets in question, e.g. WEtv and IFC, to agree to provide their product without charge (*NY Post*<http://www.nypost.com/p/news/business/my_offer_nothing_cyJpkabsv5vmlOOXcAZm5J>), as many of them had to do in the early years of cable...
