The pilot episodes of all three of the franchises are available free on iTunes. Not sure if the SG-1 pilot "Children of the Gods" is the original or remastered version (only perceptible changes are Teal'C's voice and the removal of Showtime's obligatory nudity requirement). That and the Atlantis pilots are good watches. Universe was painful from start to finish. When Universe was cancelled they wanted to do a movie to wrap up the loose ends. I maintained they'd have needed to produce three additional seasons to wrap up all the loose ends.
