I was among many who predicted that the long-term impact of that stupid
decision (the initial offer of 10pm to Leno, not the cancellation) would be
disastrous for the entire network.  I rank that as perhaps the single
stupidest thing I've seen a TV executive branch do.

My favorite point in the article is that the ratings for many of NBC's 10pm
fare are even worse than the Jay Leno experiment-gone-awry. I wonder how
Leno feels about being the benchmark for crappy television?
I supposed he can comfort himself by counting his money.
