I have never followed professional wrestling, but I love Linda McMahon, who
is something of a Democratic rabbits foot. I would love to see her move
from state to state every two years, running for the US Senate against a
different Democratic candidate and ensuring their victory.

My impression (from across the continent), is that she was not a Tea Party
candidate (probably not all that useful in Connecticut) per se, and not
part of their movement, but she was more conservative than Chris Shays, the
other Republican who would have run last fall (she beat him), and she did
get the endorsement of some Tea Party groups. It was widely reported that
she spent $50M of her own money on her first Senate run in 2010 - not sure
how much she spent in 2012.
