The Oscar-winning animator's catalog stretched from the very adult "Kama 
Sutra Rides Again" (which Stanley Kubrick had shown before his "A Clockwork 
Orange" in the UK) to television series for children, in which perhaps the 
most-seen in America series was "Henry's Cat," a fixture on Showtime's 
daytime schedule for years.  I particularly remember seeing his 
"Do-It-Yourself Cartoon Kit," a loving mocking of mainstream cartoon 
cliches, on a shorts episode of the PBS series "Film Odyssey," where many 
of us saw Bergman, Renoir and Truffaut for the first time:
