Olbermann would certainly create buzz for any rising cable sports network, possibly enough to justify what they'd have to pay him. Two problems leap to mind, which would also apply to the intriguing idea of him hosting the Late Late Show:
1. The inevitable meltdown/blowup/acrimonious parting. 2. His identification with a particular political point of view will alienate a portion of the potential audience. -- -- TV or Not TV ....
