Dallas isn't the water-cooler show it was back when JR Ewing ate some lead all those years ago, but I'm shocked the end of this iconic character isn't getting more media attention. I will say that he got a sweet and funny moment via his iPad with Bobby two episodes ago, an even sweeter and more tender moment between he and Sue Ellen at the start of the season, and they managed to squeeze in a proud papa moment between he and his son in this week's episode, just before shots were fired. One cool thing the series has been doing is giving the characters their own respective Twitter feeds. If you look at his Twitter, JR was able to offer last words to all the characters, good and bad. I've seen all the former Dallas actors and actresses lined up to appear at his funeral, so I suspect next week's episode to be memorable for fans old and new. https://twitter.com/RealJREwing -- Kevin M.
